The Heart of Heart 2 Hand!

When talking about humanitarian need, children out of education, and fundraising, people often feel overwhelmed and understandably look the other way. “How can I make a difference?” and “I am so small” are just some of the things that people say.

However, whilst a global corporate organisation was raising a significantly large amount of funds for Heart 2 Hand through a campaign targeted at its customers, there was a small, wholesome community group in London that had agreed that the funds they raised at their community event would be split with Heart 2 Hand.

The community group, Classical Conversations, a community for children who are home educated, played games and had children take part in fun activities, including the opportunity to throw a wet sponge at the community's Director, Sam.

The coming together of children was fun-filled, hopeful, and helped to strengthen their community. The £100 raised was split between their building rental costs and Heart 2 Hand.

You would be surprised at how far a £50 donation to Heart 2 Hand goes. This amount is enough to secure a few months of schooling for a child who might otherwise be out of education. It is also the equivalent of a 60kg bag of rice that will support the feeding of hundreds of underprivileged people in Cape Town.

When you look at your contribution, no matter the amount, in this way, you recognise that the need is great, but your simple acts of love and kindness can make a significant difference.

We welcome you to donate to the work of Heart 2 Hand, and we encourage you to make regular donations through our website or directly to the Heart 2 Hand account.

Regular, even small, giving is transformative, and for this reason, we celebrate Sam and Gloria, Directors of the Classical Conversations home education community in East London, as our Donors of the Month!
