A Winter with the Forgotten

This winter, Voice to the Voiceless is caring for more children than ever.

It is hard to imagine Cape Town, South Africa, as a cold and wet place, but that is truly what winter there can look like.

Most of the children supported by Sollie and team are not in school. Many can’t read or write. But, one thing is certain, all are hungry for food, for love, for hope.

Last weeks Thursday outreach was a particularly busy one, with unschooled children keen to come inside from the cold.

The team meets the kids where they are: offering warm meals, safe rides home, kind words, and the message of Jesus, in a way they can understand.

They spend time reading to those that cannot read but are fascinated by the written word… often very creative but without expression! And, they teach those to read who are gaining the confidence to step out and be vulnerable.

It’s quiet, personal work. No stage, no spotlight. Just love in action.

Please pray for this team…, for strength, provision, and open hearts.

With love

Heart2Hand
